Angel Romero

Angel Romero, a 2013 Stafford High graduate was once a talented Tenor who aspired to sing in a professional Opera one day and now he is doing it.

During his days at Stafford MSD, Romero said he learned a great deal from Ms. Ladricca Price and Director Rod Rodriguez, as he participated in a wide variety of musical events and competition.

"I really love singing," Romero said.

Romero graduated from HBU with a Music degree and a minor in Corporate Communications then had auditions all over the country for graduate school. He was accepted and received full scholarship offers into the Voice Performance program at Yale, an Ivy League University, as well as Rice University, University of Texas-Austin, University of California-Los Angeles and Indiana University.

He would go on to earn his degree from Yale University School of Music in 2019.  Romero has been recognized for his talents and musical pursuit at this prestigious university. The Ivy League University is located in New Haven, Connecticut between Boston and New York City.

"Hard work and the right mentors can make all the difference."

Romero's older brother, current Stafford High School teacher Oseas Romero, proudly attended Angel’s Yale University graduation.
