Suzette Thompson was born in Manchester, Jamaica, and grew up in Fort Bend County. She has resided in Stafford since 2010. As a mother of two Stafford students, one of whom is currently enrolled at Sam Houston State University with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025, and the other is a senior scheduled to graduate with the Senior Class of 2025.

Suzette Thompson is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession, presently employed in Hospice- End of Life care nursing . Having served as a trustee for three years, she opted to assume this role to foster greater community involvement and contribute to decision-making processes regarding the school district's budget, policies, and other pertinent aspects.
