"SMSD holds a very special place in my heart. The district has had such a positive impact on my life, and has been such a big part of making me who I am today. I want to help make our district the best it can be, and I want all of the kids at SMSD to be given the best education possible, and to experience the love and encouragement from the teachers and staff that I received when I was growing up."
