Lady Spartans Basketball The Lady Spartans were back in action on Tuesday Dec 3rd. JV scooped up the win at home, and despite a great effort varsity fell short. Varsity headed to Navasota for tournament play, facing tough 5A opponents. They will begin district play Dec 10th at hoe against Willowridge starting at 4:30pm

Mighty Spartan Football We want to congratulate our Mighty Spartans on a great Season. The boys advanced to Regionals after a thrilling Area win against PineTree in a 14-13 victory. The Spartans faced a competitive Chapel Hill in regional play, ending their season. We are super proud of these group of young men. 

Mighty Spartan Basketball  It was an exciting week for the Mighty Spartans, the boys headed down to Hidalgo coming off a win against Texas City. In the Hidalgo Pirate Classic the boys dominated getting a 3peat as champions. This also marked Coach Montano's 300th win with the Spartans, in his 11th season. Other honors at the classic were Skylar Holt being picked for All-Tournament team and Maxwell Frels as the MVP of the tournament. The boys return to play Friday down in Port Arthur in the James Gamble Classic. #GoSpartans

Middle School Last Thursday night was a thrilling one for our 7th ad 8th boys as they faced Bay City. 7th grade A took their match into overtime, and with the opponent's fouling out, it made for a smooth victory. Then 8th grade A gave us a nail biter, with it coming down to the last seconds, give the Spartans a one point victory. 7th grade B team cruised through their win, while 8th grade B took a tough loss. 

Our girls had an equally excited match-up as they traveled to Bay City. Both 7th Grade A and B came back with victories. 7th Grade B dominated their opponent while A kept it exciting with a 3pt victory. 

The boys and girls will face Wharton this week, with the girls playing Monday Dec 9th and the boys Thursday Dec 12
