"I AM STEM"

Why STEM?

Stafford Municipal School District  (SMSD) STEM programs serve students in grades EC -12. STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. These four fields share an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Students are enrolled in foundation and enrichment courses. The core curriculum includes math and science while students experience technology integration throughout all disciplines. Additionally, the district has a STEM elective program that highlight areas such as: Video Gaming; Robotics, and Drones.

In 2021, SMSD opened a STEM Magnet. This school focuses on all of the 21stCentury skills and specialize in Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, and other related STEM areas.
