Science (7-12)

"The scientist is not a person who gives the right answers, he's one who asks the right questions."

― Claude Levi-Strauss

What is science? Science is a systematic enterprise that creates, builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. Science is distinct from many other disciplines because of the way it promotes investigative thinking.

In science, students will test ideas with evidence gathered from the natural world. Students will develop crucial science skills such as observing, classifying, reasoning, and predicting. We further promote learning by encouraging students to develop inquiry skills, which will benefit them throughout their life.
